The Airport

The airport company operates Berlin Brandenburg Willy Brandt Airport (BER) with its terminals 1 and 2. Berlin is the third-largest airport location in Germany; in fact, it is the largest in terms of arriving and departing passengers (excluding transfer passengers).

In 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic, some 35.65 million passengers took off and landed in the capital region. In 2023, 23.07 million passengers passed through BER.
